About Me

     As a child, I loved going to school.  I loved to read, I enjoyed writing, and I loved doing math.  I would come home and pretend to be a teacher.  I began my career in preschool, teaching at the same preschool I attended.  I obtained my degree in Human Development and Family Studies, earned my teaching credential when my youngest child was an infant, and began full time teaching after enjoying many years at home with my children.  This begins my ninth year teaching for the district and it is a true joy to teach First Grade. 

 

    When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, exercising, gardening, crafting, and cooking.  I love to vacation, especially where I can find a beach.  Some of my favorite vacation spots are Capitola, San Diego, and Hawaii!
