We are now looking forward to our Thanksgiving Sandwich Buffet on Tuesday, November 26th! The sign up genius is up and running! Thank you in advance for volunteering to send in supplies and for joining us on this "Day of Thanksgiving" for our children!

Our trimester ends on November 15^th. Report cards will go home on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Please continue to check your child’s grades on Power School. I am very impressed with the growth our students are making! Thank you for supporting me with maintaining high standards in our classroom!

We will have spelling this week, but our test will be on Friday, not Thursday, due to the Veterans Day Holiday on Monday. Please make sure students continue reading for their Red Reading Folder. It is due on Friday, Nov. 15.

Students will take the Chapter 3 Math test this week. Please continue to check your child's homework nightly and practice 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication problems. (ex: 23 X 54)  Also, students need to pass their Xtra Math Multiplication Facts this week to attend the party with Mr. Bivens on Friday! Congratulations to Claire, Mason, Molly, Chloe, Adelina, Landon, Amy, Brooke, and Noah for already passing their Multiplication facts! Yippee!

We will begin our FOSS Science Unit on Energy this week!  

Our Kids Can food drive is on! Anything that you can send in will be appreciated. These are the foods that they say are most needed: Canned meats including tuna, chicken, turkey, ham, stew and chili. They also need  canned vegetables, 
pasta & pasta sauce,
 beans, rice,
 healthy cereals, peanut butter, baby food & baby formula. No glass containers, please! Everything should be in original packaging with the expiration date in tact.
