Good afternoon PRUSD Families,
It was really good to see the students last week. I want to thank everyone for supporting the safety protocols last week. Unfortunately, we will have to pivot this week as we are being informed about many positive cases on our campuses. This means some students will be learning via an at-home learning model and some will be on campus.
This week school will continue to offer in-person instruction, but we are asking that all students who have any symptoms that could be sinus or smoke-related to remain home. Please test your children as we have encountered many cases that parents assumed symptoms were sinus or smoke-related only to find out their children have tested positive for the COVID virus. The symptom list is on the front page of each of the school’s websites named “Daily Symptom Checklist”.
The only way we will be able to remain open for continuous in-person instruction is to adhere to the daily checklist protocol and quarantine protocol. Thank you for supporting our schools and we look forward to a great second week.
