Good Morning PRUSD Parents,
I hope your break is going well. We want to remind you, school resumes Monday, January 3, 2022. We also ask you to resume with the daily C-19 symptom health check provided on all district websites. The district is providing rapid take-home tests. The test is available at the district office if would like to come and pick up a test prior to sending your child back to school on the 3rd. We are handing them out tomorrow through Thursday between the times of 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
Beginning on January 5, 2022, at each school site, the schools will provide symptomatic testing for all students. Antigen testing will be scheduled on an as-needed basis for students experiencing symptoms if they have had no known exposure to Covid 19 in the 14 days prior to the start of symptoms. Students may return to school if the antigen test results are negative AND:
• Symptoms are resolving (not necessarily completely resolved)
• Fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications
• 24 hours without an incidence of diarrhea or vomiting
• Fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications
• 24 hours without an incidence of diarrhea or vomiting
At any time if your child has come in direct contact with a person who tests positive to Covid 19, please keep your child at home and contact the school immediately to get direction in how to respond.
