Homework Assignments
Homework in kindergarten is unique. Some children love the idea of having “homework” like their siblings. I encourage any practice that includes writing, sounding out words, counting, and exploring their world “as a scientist”. (For ideas please see me.) Also, small paper books will be coming home for your child to keep. I highly encourage you make it a habit for your child to use these as practice. They are very simple and are a wonderful way to build skills and confidence. **There will be times when projects or practice will be assigned. You will be warned in advance and a date for return will always be included. **
