Back to School Night

Alta Sierra's Back to School Night is Thursday, August 29.
Your student's teacher will share with you information on volunteering, homework, communication, grade books, classroom procedures and more.
You have a few weeks of experience and probably have questions as well.
This is an information meeting for parents. If you can, please make arrangements for child care.

Please meet in your child's classroom at the following times.
TK-K-1st : 6:00PM
2nd - 3rd: 6:35PM
4th - 5th: 7:10PM

Honor Roll School

We’re proud to report that Alta Sierra has been named an Honor Roll school by Educational Results Partnership, a data science organization that recognizes high-performing, achievement gap-closing schools across the state. Sponsored by the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence, the ERP Honor Roll is the only school recognition program in the state that uses student achievement outcome data, and is a valuable resource for all schools to identify successful peers and learn about best practices that improve student success. May is such an important month for learning. This is the time of year when student growth really reaches its peak. This time of year is the final push to solidify each student's foundation to be ready for the next grade.

Please be safe in the upper drop off area

The upper drop off circle is a NO PARKING ZONE.
Stay in your car to drop off or pickup students.
If you need to park, there is a parking area adjacent to the pickup area.
Drop off or load students along the curb only. It is unsafe to load or unload in the second lane.
Be patient. We all have places to be so smile, breathe and work together.

Morning Drop Off is 7:35AM

Students cannot be dropped off prior to 7:35AM when staff report for playground supervision. This includes the upper and lower parking lots.

Animals at School

We all love to share and look at puppies, kitties and lizards..ok maybe not lizards. However, we must insist that you leave all of your cute family pets at home. Whether its before, during or after school, animals must remain off campus.
