Week of Aug. 20th

It's the second week of school and we are off and running. Thank you to everyone who has been so diligent in sending in paperwork.
This week we will continue to discuss what it means to be in school and how to be a good classmate. Our focus right now is to master writing our name with a capital letter in front and lower case letters after that. This can be a tough habit to break for some. Please practice this skill at home.
Another skill that we really need to practice is cutting with scissors. If you need to borrow some child-size scissors, please email me and I will send some home with your student. Lots of practice will be the key to this one.
As always, please email me with any questions you may have.

****Volunteer spots are available. Please email me if you are able to commit to working in our room on a weekly basis****
