This is the online component of our National Geographic Reach for Reading program. The full text is available, as well as added technological pieces. Students log on with the same username and password they were issued for Accelerated Reader (label on the inside cover of all home reading journals).
To start ordering online, follow these simple steps: 1. REGISTER at Scholastic Book Clubs' secure Web site (www.scholastic.com/bookclubs), and create your own User Name and Password. 2. ENTER the onetime Class Activation Code(HHHNQ) above to link you to your child's classroom and teacher recommendations. 3. BROWSE the wide selection of books with your child. 4. PAY safely and securely for your selections using your credit card. 5. SEND the order to your child's teacher online, and watch your child get excited to read!

This program, used in our school computer lab and on chromebooks, can be used on any device with a keyboard. Be sure to remind students to keep their fingers on home row and their eyes on the screen. If that's difficult, it's probably a sign that backing up a few lessons would be beneficial.
