Our Library, Other Libraries and Book Orders
OUR LIBRARY (Every Friday at 9:00am with Mrs. Alonso)
Giving your child abundant opportunities to enjoy books with you, and on their own, is so important! Our class will be able to go to our school library each week to pick out a special book of their choice. This weekly "special event" creates enthusiasm for books and reading. Please try to make sure the book your child chooses is special at home as well by reading it and talking about it together. This experience also gives your child the opportunity to learn responsibility for this book by taking care of it at home and being sure to return it on time each week.

BOOK ORDERS
Book orders are a completely optional choice for families who would like to build a collection of books at home. I will be sending Scholastic book orders home periodically. If you are interested in ordering from the flyer, it can be done two ways. You can either fill out the paper order form that goes home and send it back to school with a check made out to Scholastic, or you can order and pay online. If you choose online:
1. Go to scholastic.com
2. Scroll over blue bar that says Parents - click on Find Order Form From Reading Club Flyer
3. Click on Parents, Connect To Your Teacher
4. Our class code: GV4XT
5. You can begin ordering from there, and it will lead you to paying online
