TK Week of April 22nd-26th

I'm sorry for missing Friday's post! With future TK Round-up appointments yesterday until 4:00pm, and then getting ready for next week, time seemed to fly by until my time to post was gone!
Kindergarten Round-up - Even though I couldn't be with my TKers on Friday, I was able to stop by a couple times and I saw lots of smiles and fun, busy things happening. AND I got to give smiles and quick waves to our TKers as they came to the room we were in to be part of Round-up with our kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Heyl and Mrs. Yant.
Letter of the Week - Y ("Hello smile, Little Slide, Ribbit, Big Slide") was our letter of the week. Not only making Y, but some of our other slant letters would be great practice too (A, K, M, N, R, V, W, X).
Principal's Day - This Wednesday (May 1st) is national Principal's Day! To honor Mr. Bivens on his special day, we are hoping everyone can wear a tie to school that day.
DATES TO REMEMBER:
May 16th - Open House at Alta Sierra (Thursday from 6:00-7:00pm)
May 21st - TK's Sacramento Zoo Field Trip (8:45am-2:00pm)
May 27th - Labor Day (No School)
May 28th - Unused Emergency Day (No School - IF we don't use it for a snow day or a no power day from now until then.)
June 5th - TK-3rd Grade Fun Day!
June 6th - The Last Day of School
